Your idea becomes a handmade drawing that touches you – realistic, timeless and personal. ArtYvesFact draws commissioned portraits (human or animal), landscapes and thematic or religious art in a modern style. No computer, but pencil & ink, fineliners and where appropriate a touch of gold paint.

Together we determine subject, style and format; I steer along with creative freedom. This results in a unique work of art as a gift, a striking interior piece or a work with emotional value that will last for generations. Based in Merksem (Antwerp), I work for clients throughout Belgium and internationally.

This is how the process

Clear steps: sketch, detail, finish – without a computer. You get intermediate updates, so you have a front row seat as your work emerges.

Sketch: trend

We start with your story. I make a sketch to capture composition, light and atmosphere. Here we fine tune the direction: portrait, landscape or thematic. Minor adjustments? Now is the time.

Detail: layer upon layer

The magic is in the layers. With pencil, ink and fineliners, I build texture, depth and realism. You receive a few intermediate photos so you can see the evolution and I adjust where necessary.

Finish: fixation & signature

When everything is right, I finish with fixation. Subtle gold paint can make details sparkle. I sign each work with ArtYvesFact – artisanal, 100% handmade.

Materials,size & style

Do we opt for soft realism or graphic finesse? Matte or with a gold accent? Each choice affects mood, detail and price. I advise you honestly.

Pencil & Ink

Ideal for realistic portraits and landscapes. Pencil provides softness and nuance; ink provides tight contrasts. Together, it creates a timeless look.

Fineliners

For those who love line work with character. Fineliner art gives rhythm, texture and a modern, recognizable signature. Perfect for thematic and religious art in a contemporary touch.

Gold paint (subtle accent)

A hint of gold paint can catch light without being overpowering. Think highlights, ornaments or symbolism – delicately deployed, never gaudy.

Price indication & quote

Fair custom price, transparent and with no surprises. Price depends on:
  • size and complexity
  • chosen materials (pencil & ink, fineliners, gold paint)
  • number of persons/parts in portraits or thematic works
You will receive a clear quote with scope, timing and delivery method. For private assignments, I work with an advance; for organizations and galleries, I make a proposal tailored to the assignment. Ask for a quote and you will quickly receive a concrete plan.

Delivery time & planning

Craft takes time. Count on a realistic schedule in weeks, not days. I discuss the exact timing at the start – depending on format, level of detail and schedule. During the process I’ll keep you informed with brief updates. Shipping can be safely packaged throughout Belgium and internationally.

Proud moment: as expo artist Belgium, ArtYvesFact was allowed to show two works in the castle of Wertheim (art expo Germany): “Judith” and “The Dove of Noah’s Ark”. Both drawn with fineliners and subtly finished with gold paint – international art that nevertheless remains personal.
